Joseph E Knecht, Managing Director

In 2005, with the planning and guidance of Knecht, i2rd launched Vipa Solutions, a technology services company that partners with advertising, marketing and PR agencies providing proven processes and web-based tools for agencies to manage their client’s websites, event registration and online marketing services. The Vipa Solutions team specializes in aiding agencies in the shift from traditional media and static websites to dynamic web services. In 2005 the company expanded its reach, creating national sales and customer service teams. As partner and managing director of Vipa Solutions, Joseph is responsible for the oversight of a team that performs the day-to-day business operations of this aggressively growing company. He plays a key role in the development of new products and services and is responsible for identifying and maintaining industry relationships to help the company succeed.

Muhlin Chen, Managing Director

With more than 20 years of experience in technology and system research, Dr. Chen gained valuable skills as a lead consultant on enterprise-level research and development projects for large institutions in areas including educational networking, internet stock trading, and cross state fulfillment systems. He founded i2rd with Dr. Nelson and has been in charge of the deployment of many successful eCommerce/eBusiness systems and a nationwide communication network monitoring system. He is also responsible for researching new technologies applied and integrated into the infrastructure and business models of Vipa Solutions’ clients.

Ken Logan, Director of Technical Operations

Mr. Logan oversees technical operations for the Vipa Suite services platform, utilizing over a decade of experience working in diverse areas of the software industry. Mr. Logan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and he also has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Texas - Austin.
