Physical Security – The Vipa Suite application is hosted from FNTS (www.fnts.com) an F-5 bunker located in Omaha, Nebraska.
Data Security – Vipa Suite data is protected by multiple layers of firewalls and restricted IP address access. Commerce related data is encrypted.
Redundancy – Vipa Suite utilizes a hardware cluster meaning that at any point in time the website is being hosted from multiple servers. In the case of hardware failure, the bad server is pulled from “public” service and website uptimes are optimized.
Compatibility - Vipa Solutions will enhance the Vipa Suite framework components to work in newer versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Macintosh Safari.
Backup Processes - Vipa Suite has built-in services to ensure your data and information is secure and backed up on a schedule. This is accomplished by utilizing features in Postgres SQL and Slony for data copying and real-time data synching.
Some of Vipa Suite’s clients require additional hosting needs for video and audio streaming. Vipa Solutions currently works with Amazon S3 for additional third-party hosting but Vipa Suite also has an open architecture to support additional streaming partners.
